Draw the Road, Then Watch It Go

Inkway gives you a blank space and one simple task: draw a road that gets the car safely to its destination. Instead of steering the vehicle directly, you create the route yourself and let the car follow the path you've drawn.

It sounds easy until obstacles and dangerous areas get in the way. A straight line may be the quickest route, but it isn't always the safest. Look at the whole level first, decide where the car should travel, and then draw a path that keeps it out of trouble.

Your Drawing Is the Solution

There isn't just one way to approach a level. You can experiment with different routes and see how the car reacts. Sometimes a simple curve is enough, while other stages may require you to carefully guide the vehicle around several hazards.

The challenge comes from combining creativity with planning. Before you put your line down, think about where it will lead and whether the car can actually follow it without hitting something dangerous.

A Little Ink Goes a Long Way

Inkway keeps its controls wonderfully straightforward. Draw directly on the screen to create the road, then let the car take over. The interesting part is watching your plan play out and discovering whether your carefully drawn route really works.

If your first attempt doesn't go as planned, adjust the route and try again. Small changes to the shape or direction of the road can completely change the result.

Think Before You Draw

The later challenges reward patience more than rushed movements. Check the obstacles, identify the finish point, and work out a safe route before drawing. The best solutions aren't necessarily the longest or shortest—they're the ones that get the car through safely.

Can Your Road Get the Car Home?

Study the level, grab your imaginary pen, and draw a route that gives the car a safe passage. Once you release your drawing, the car takes over. If the path works, you've solved the puzzle; if not, rethink the route and draw again.

Use your mouse or touchscreen to draw a road from the car toward the winning point. Plan around obstacles and dangerous areas before completing your line. Once the path is ready, the car will follow it, so make sure your route provides a safe way to the destination.
