Eating the Apples Is Only the Beginning

Serpento takes the familiar Snake formula and gives it a proper puzzle twist. Your first job is to clear the board by eating every apple, but finishing the level requires one more thing: getting the entire snake through the exit that appears once the apples are gone.

That second objective changes how you move. You can't simply chase the nearest apple without thinking about where your tail will end up. Plan your route, manage your growing body, and keep the eventual escape in mind from the start.

24 Stages, Plenty of Ways to Get Stuck

The game features 24 stages that gradually change the way you approach each board. Some levels give you plenty of open space to move around, while later layouts can squeeze the snake into extremely tight two-tile paths where a single bad turn can ruin the run.

The challenge isn't just about reaching the apples. It's about finding a route that leaves your whole tail in a position where you can still reach the exit.

Watch Out for the Pits and Frogs

Serpento adds a few surprises to keep the familiar Snake movement from becoming predictable. Pits can teleport you to another part of the board, creating unexpected shortcuts or throwing your carefully planned route off course.

Then there are the frogs. They won't politely wait for you to arrive, and they'll hop away as you get close. You'll need to account for their movement while deciding where to steer next.

Choose Your Way to Play

With three speed settings and four control options, you can adjust the experience to suit your preferred style. Take things slower when you're working through a tricky maze, or increase the pace once you're comfortable with the movement.

Once you've learned to think beyond the next apple, Serpento becomes a satisfying little test of planning, positioning, and patience.
